DAY 1 : Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station (NJP) - Phuentsholing

Bagdogra Airport (126 m/412 ft) and New Jalpaiguri (140 m/460 ft) Phuentsholing (293 m/ 961 Fts, 165 m/ 04 to 05 h drive, approx.) Pick up from Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station (NJP) and transfer to Phuentsholing. Meet & Greetings upon arrival at Phuentsholing (298 m/977 ft). Depending on your arrival time, our Trip Leader will assist you in procuring your permit for Bhutan. The permit issuance takes time, depending on the rush, one has to stand in line for the procurement of a permit. In case the permit is not processed on the day of arrival then it can be issued the next day before you start for your next destination. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2 : Phuentsholing - Thimphu

Thimphu (2320 m/7656 ft, 158 m/05 to 06 Hrs drive approx.) After breakfast, Checkout and then after completing your Visa and Permit formalities, assisted by our Bhutan representative who will then assist you in boarding your vehicle for transfer from Phuentsholing to Thimphu, in case your permit is not done on the day of arrival. On arrival in Thimphu, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 3 : Thimphu - Full Day Local sightseeing - Thimphu

Thimphu (2320 m/7611 ft) After breakfast, go for Thimphu sightseeing, covering Sangaygang View Point (BBS Tower), which is located at an elevation of 2,865 m (9397 Ft), which offers an exquisite view of the whole town of Thimphu. then, after visiting Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodong), Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Art & Craft) School) (Closed on Saturday, Sunday, National Holiday & During Summer & Winter Vacations), Textiles Museum , HandicraFt Shops (Closed on Saturday, Sunday & National Holidays), Zangthopelri Lhakhang (Monastery), Simply Bhutan (Closed on National Holiday), Motithang Takin Preservation Centre (Closed on Every Monday). Later return back to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4 : Thimphu - Punakha Local Sightseeing - Punakha / Wangdi

Punakha / Wangdi (1273 m/4177 ft, 70 m/3 to 3 hours one-way drive, approx.) After breakfast, checkout and then drive from Thimphu to Punakha / Wangdi, which is the last town on the highway before entering Central Bhutan. The drive is over Dochu La pass (3080 m/10102 ft). is very scenic, with a fascinating view of the mountains of Bhutan. In Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong. If time permit, visit the suspension bridge, and then proceed to Chimi Lhakhang (Monastery). Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5 : Punakha / Wangdi via Lamperi - Paro

Paro (2200 m/7218 ft, 148 m/04 to 05 h approx. drive) After breakfast, checkout, & then transfer from Punakha or Wangdi to Paro. En route, stop at Lamperi to Visit the Royal Botanical Garden. On arrival in Paro, check in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 6 : Paro - Full day Local Sightseeing - Paro

Paro (2200 m / 7216 Fts) After breakfast, go for the full-day Paro sightseeing covering of Dungtse Lhakhang for the bird-eye view of picturesque Paro Valley, which can be seen from this point and the small Paro International airport in the middle of all, and that looks stunning. ideal time to go here would be between 10 am and 11 am, then visit Ta Page 3 of 3 Dzong (National Museum-Closed on National Holiday), Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang. Afternoon: visit the Paro local Market. Overnight at Hotel. Or Paro - Hike To Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger’S Nest) Paro (2200 m/ 7216 Fts) Start the day early for a day hike to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger's Nest Monastery). The hike, which is a uphill climb for about 2 ½ to 3 hours (Depending on Guest Fitness label) one way through pine forests. Many guest who are unable to make it to the top can hike upto the cafeteria points, which is again about 1 to 1 ½ Hrs uphill climbing. Later, return to the base, where the vehicle will be waiting to take you back to the hotel. Or Paro - Excursion to Chele; La la pass: Paro Chele-la pass (3988 m/13080 ft, 40 km/02 to 02 ½ hr, one- One way drive approx. from Paro) After breakfast go for a day excursion to Chele-la pass. Later, drive back to Paro. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 7 : Paro - Phuentsholing (Bhutan) – Lataguri (India)

Phuentsholing (Bhutan) / Jaigoan (India) (298 m/977 ft, 176 m/04 to 05 h drive, approx.) Lataguri (105 m/ 345 Fts, 112 m/ 02 ½ to 3 Hrs drive, approx. from phuentsholing) After breakfast, checkout and then transfer from Paro to Phuentsholing (Bhutan) / Jaigoan (India), enroute stop at Karbandi stop for Bhutan exit stamps & at Indian Immigration office at Jaigaon for India entry stamp. Later, drive to Lataguri. On reaching check into the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8 : Lataguri - Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / NJP Railway Station (NJP)

Bagdogra Airport (IXB) (126 m/412 ft) / New Jalpaiguri (140 m/460 ft, 75 Kms, 02 to 03 Hrs drive) approx.

After breakfast , Optional:

  •  Jungle Safari by Jeep: Please note that the guest will have to personally stand in line for Jeep
    Safari with their original ID proof. The cost of the Jeep Safari is not included in the package cost. 
 
  • Suggest to book late afternoon departure flight or connection: in case the guest is interested in doing
    Jeep Safari in Lataguri is requested to book a late-afternoon flight or train connection.
