Best time to visit
The best time to visit Shillong and Kaziranga National Park is between October and April when the weather is pleasant and dry. However, Mawlynnong and Cherrapunjee can be visited year-round, but the monsoon season (June-September) is the best time to witness the waterfalls in full flow.

DAY 1 : Arrival At Guwahati - Shillong(130 Kms / 3 ½ Hrs Drive)
On your first day, you will arrive at the Guwahati airport and proceed to Shillong, the
capital of Meghalaya, also known as the "Scotland of the East." Shillong is a beautiful hill
station known for its picturesque landscapes, waterfalls, and vibrant culture. After reaching Shillong, you can check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the
local markets and trying out some local delicacies.
DAY 2 : Shillong - Cherrapunjee - Shillong(60 KMs / 2 Hrs-One Way)
On day 2, you will visit Cherrapunjee, which is renowned for being one of the wettest places
on earth. En route, you will witness the scenic beauty of Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, and
the Mawsmai Caves. At Cherrapunjee, you can explore the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters
Falls, and other beautiful waterfalls. After a full day of sightseeing, you will return to your
hotel in Shillong.
DAY 3 : Shillong-Mwallynong-Sillong (100 km/ 3 hours/ One Way)
On day 3, you will head to Mawlynnong, which is famous for being Asia's cleanest village.
You will witness the natural beauty of the village, including the living root bridges,
balancing rocks, and beautiful waterfalls. After exploring the village, you will return to
your hotel in Shillong.
DAY 4 : Shillong - Kaziranga(325 KMs / 7 HRS)
On day 4, you will proceed to Kaziranga National Park, which is known for its one-horned
rhinoceroses. After reaching Kaziranga, you can check into your hotel and spend the rest of
the day at leisure.
DAY 5 : Kaziranga
On day 5, you will explore Kaziranga National Park, which is home to various flora and
fauna, including the one-horned rhinoceros, tigers, elephants, and water buffalo. You can
enjoy a jeep safari in the park to spot some of these animals in their natural habitat.
DAY 6 : Departure
On the final day, you will depart from Kaziranga and proceed to the Guwahati airport for
your onward journey.
