Best time to visit

October to March is the best time to visit Gujarat as the weather is pleasant during this time. This itinerary is ideal for history and culture enthusiasts who want to explore the rich cultural and architectural heritage of Gujarat.

DAY 1 : Ahmedabad - Champaner ( 150 Kms – 3 Hrs )

Arrive in Ahmedabad and drive to Champaner, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its archaeological and historical importance. Visit the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, which is home to a collection of ancient Hindu and Jain temples, mosques, and tombs.

DAY 2 : Champaner – Chhota Udepur - Champaner (65 Kms Per Way )

Drive to the tribal town of Chhota Udepur, located about 50 km east of Champaner. This area is known for its rich tribal culture and handicrafts. Explore the tribal villages, visit the tribal museum, and enjoy a boat ride on the nearby lake.

DAY 3 : Champaner To Bhavnagar (240 Kms Approx. 6 Hrs )

Drive to Bhavnagar, a historic port city located on the Gulf of Khambhat. Visit the Takhteshwar Temple and the Gaurishankar Lake, two popular attractions in the city. You can also explore the Bhavnagar Lock Gate, which is one of the oldest structures in the city.

DAY 4 : Bhavnagar – Palitana - Bhavnagar(55kms Per Way )

Visit Palitana, a sacred Jain pilgrimage center known for its magnificent Jain temples located atop a hill. The Palitana Temple Complex comprises of more than 900 temples that are beautifully decorated with intricate carvings and sculptures.

DAY 5 : Bhavnagar To Gondal (163 km / 4 hours)

Drive to Gondal, a princely state in the Saurashtra region. Visit the Naulakha Palace, which is a magnificent palace built in the European style. You can also visit the Swaminarayan Temple and the Bhuvaneswari Temple in the city.

DAY 6 : Gondal To Rajkot (40 Kms Approx. 1 Hr )

(40 kilometers, approximately 1 hour).

DAY 7 : Rajkot

Spend the day exploring Rajkot. Visit the Kaba Gandhi No Delo, which is the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. You can also visit the Rotary Dolls Museum, which is a popular attraction in the city.

DAY 8 : Rajkot To Ahmedabad (215 Kms Approx. 4 Hrs )

Drive back to Ahmedabad, where your trip comes to an end.
