Best time to visit

The ideal time to visit Bhitarkanika National Park is from October to March when the weather is pleasant and dry. It is not recommended to visit during the monsoon season from June to September due to heavy rainfall and flooding.

DAY 1 : Arrival Bhubaneswar

DAY 2 : Bhubaneswar - Bhitarkanika N.P (170 Kms/3.5 Hrs)

Post breakfast, drive to Bhitarkanika National Park. Visit the crocodile breeding center and learn about the conservation efforts for saltwater crocodiles. Enjoy a boat ride to spot the estuarine crocodiles, birds, and other wildlife in the mangrove forests. Overnight stay in Bhitarkanika National Park.

DAY 3 : Bhitarkanika NP - Bhubaneswar (260 Km/5hrs)

In the morning, go for a nature walk in the park and spot some wildlife in their natural habitat. After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive back to Bhubaneswar. Visit the famous Kalinga War Memorial and the Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves. Overnight stay in Bhubaneswar.

DAY 4 : Bhubaneswar Departure
