The ideal time to visit Sikkim and Darjeeling is from March to June and from September to December. The monsoon season should be avoided due to heavy rainfall, and winters can be quite chilly.

DAY 1 : Arrival NJP / IXB - Gangtok

After reaching the Bagdogra airport or NJP railway station, proceed towards Gangtok. On the way, admire the beautiful landscapes and scenery. Checkin at the hotel, rest, and explore the local market in the evening.

DAY 2 : Gangtok - Excursion To Tshangu Lake & New Baba Mandir

Post breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Tshangu Lake, situated at an altitude of 12,310 ft. After that, head to the New Baba Mandir. Return to Gangtok by evening.

DAY 3 : Gangtok

Spend the day exploring Gangtok's famous monasteries, temples, and viewpoints. Visit the Enchey Monastery, Rumtek Monastery, Ganesh Tok, and Hanuman Tok, which offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

DAY 4 : Gangtok - Darjeeling (98 km, 3 hours)

After breakfast, proceed towards Darjeeling, a scenic hill station famous for its tea plantations and picturesque views of the Himalayas. Check-in at the hotel, rest, and explore the local market in the evening.

DAY 5 : Darjeeling

Early morning, proceed towards the Tiger Hill to catch a glimpse of the mesmerizing sunrise over the Kanchenjunga peak. Later, visit the Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, and other popular attractions of Darjeeling.

DAY 6 : Darjeeling - NJP / IXB

Spend the day at leisure exploring the town and its surroundings. Take a walk in the lush green tea gardens or visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park.
